Kenncares Concept Logistics

Client: Kenncares Concept Logistics

Operating Model Diagnostic cover: From Manual Hustle to a Documented Operating Model

Service: Operating Model Diagnostic Industry: Logistics & Last-Mile Delivery, Nigeria Engagement stage: Diagnose → Standardise → Measure

The Situation

Most logistics startups think their problem is technology. Usually, it isn’t.

Kenncares Concept Logistics is an 8-person logistics company in Nigeria, six months into operations, already running four service lines, including cold chain delivery. Orders come in, riders deliver, customers pay. The business works.

But none of it was documented:

4 service lines running: commodity, B2C, e-commerce, cold chain
3+ order channels: Shopynex, WhatsApp, phone calls, social media
0 standard operating procedures documented
0 KPIs being tracked anywhere in the business

Day-to-day coordination ran through one person’s judgment, with no backup if they were unavailable. No SOPs. No KPIs. No confirmed org chart.

What We Found

We traced 4 of their 8 biggest pain points back to a single root cause: not a lack of staff or demand, but the absence of structured systems.

The Approach

The fix wasn’t a dispatch app. We built a 90-day roadmap that:

1. Documents the process first
2. Measures performance second
3. Evaluates technology last, only once there was real data to justify it

This diagnostic was shared publicly at the diagnosis stage on purpose, no invented results, no projected numbers. Just the findings as they were.

Client Feedback

“Your Service is valuable. Thank you.” Kehinde Ogunlana, IT Support & Health Information Management Specialist

Why This Matters

If you’re running a small operation that’s outgrown its own informal systems, this is the work we do: diagnosing what’s actually broken before recommending what to buy or build.
